FTSE Futures Update : 29 Nov 2021

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,103.80 up with +1.19% percent or +83.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,700.00 with a loss of -5.20% percent or -367.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 15,363.50  up with +1.69% or +256.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,130.00 up with +1.65% percent or +67.00 point.




It ended up being stock markets that were marked down on Friday following confirmation of a worrisome new Covid-19 in southern Africa.

“The Black Friday sales have extended to global stocks today, with a huge risk-off move sparking weakness across the board for equities”, said IG senior market analyst Josh Mahony.

“Fears around the new variant found in South Africa bring concern that we could be on the cusp of yet another wave of infections and subsequent restrictions.”




For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,044.03 with a loss of –3.64% percent or ?266.34 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 6,739.73 with a loss of –4.75%  percent or ?336.14  point.Germany’s DAX closed at 15,257.04 with a loss of –4.15% percent or –660.94 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 34,899.34 with  a loss of –2.53%percent or –905.04 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,594.62 with a loss of –2.27% percent or –106.84   point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 15,491.66 with a loss  –2.23 percent or –353.57   point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 28,199.19 with a loss of –1.92% percent or  ?552.43 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 23,891.17 with a loss of 0.79% ercent or –189.35 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,555.38 with a loss of –0.24% percent or –8.71 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 57,494.99 up with +0.68% percent or +387.847  point at 12:15 PM.
