The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,133.50 up with +0.52% percent or +37.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,685.50 up with +0.01% percent or +1.00 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 15,878.00 up with +0.22% or +34.90 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,211.00 up  with +0.71% percent or +30.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Oil and gas stocks were negative on concerns around the impact of Hurricane Ida in the US, while in Asia, China’s factory activity grew at a slower pace in August compared with July.

The official manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index for August came in at 50.1, against July’s reading of 50.4. PMI readings above 50 represent expansion.
