FTSE Futures Morning Update as on 05 March. 2021

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,581.20 with a loss of -0.77% percent or -51.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,785.50 with a loss of -0.72% percent or -42.00 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 13,990.00 with +0.19% or +27.20 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,678.00 with a loss of  -0.68% percent or –25.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Sterling was in the green, meanwhile, last gaining 0.32% on the dollar to trade at $1.3999, and advancing 0.54% against the euro to €1.1630.

“Worries about firmer government bond yields are weighing on stocks again,” said CMC Markets analyst David Madden.

“The Asian session saw painful losses thanks to the declines witnessed last night in the US and that has seeped into the sentiment in this part of the world, although the declines are moderate.”

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 6,650.88 with a loss of -0.37% percent or  -24.59 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,830.65 up with +0.010% percent or +0.59 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 14,056.34  with a loss of -0.17%percent or -23.69  point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 30,924.14 with a loss of -1.11% percent or  -345.95 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,768.47  with a loss of -1.34% percent or -51.25 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 12,723.47 with a loss of -2.11% percent or  ?274.28 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 28,764.27  with a loss of -0.57% percent or -165.84 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,321.91 up with +0.29%percent or +85.12 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,520.88  up with +0.50% percent or +17.39 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 50,744.79 with a loss of  -0.20% percent or -101.29 point at 12:15 PM.
