The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,792.20 with a loss of -0.95% percent or -65.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,671.00 with a loss of -0.60% percent or -34.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 13,960.00 with a loss of -0.35% or -49.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,614.00 with a loss of -0.22% percent or -8.00 point.


London stocks fell in early trade on Monday amid reports that Covid-19 restrictions in England were set to get even tougher.

At 0840 GMT, the FTSE 100 was down 0.5% at 6,841.21, while sterling was 0.5% weaker versus the dollar at 1.3497.

Investors were digesting reports over the weekend that the government is considering tightening restrictions even further, with masks in certain outdoor settings, curfews and even a ban on people leaving the house more than once a week said to have been discussed.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 6,841.45  with a loss of –percent or ?31.81 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,672.06 with a loss of – percent or ?34.82 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 13,962.16 with a loss of –percent or ?87.37 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 31,097.97  up with percent or +56.84 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,824.68 up with + percent or +20.89 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 13,201.98 up with + percent or +134.50 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 28,139.03 up with +percent or +648.90 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,908.22 up with +percent or +30.00 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,531.50  with a loss of – percent or ?38.61 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 49,269.32 up with +percent or  +486.81 point at 12:15 PM.
