UK PRE MARKET
The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,372.80 with a loss of -0.31% percent or -22.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,294.00 with a loss of -0.1% percent or -0.31% point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,954.50 with a loss of -0.60% percent or -78.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,536.00 with a loss of -0.45% percent or -16.00 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
London stocks were set to edge lower at the open on Wednesday as investors eyed the release of the latest UK jobs data.
The FTSE 100 is expected to open eight points lower at 7,406.
On the data front, the unemployment rate, claimant count and average earnings are all due at 0930 GMT. In addition, Bank of England economist Andy Haldane is scheduled to make a speech at 1000 GMT.
CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson said: “If we have indeed seen inflation peak then that would be welcome news, particularly if wage pressures continue to build up from their current 2.1% level. With unemployment at 42 year lows of 4.3%, it surely can only be a matter of time before wage pressure starts to manifest itself further

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,851.69 with a loss of –1.03% percent or –300.43 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,402.52 with a loss of –0.79% percent or –27.02 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 32,738.28 with a loss of –0.62% percent or –204.85 point at 12:15 PM.
