FTSE Futures Morning Update on 14 November

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,403.50 for up with +0.01% percent or +1.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,345.50 with a loss of -0.10% percent or -5.30 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,098.50 for up with +0.02% percent or +2.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,577.0 for up with +0.08% percent or +3.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks had reversed earlier gains to trade a touch lower by the close of trading on Monday amid a new wave of political uncertainty.

The FTSE 100 finished the session down 0.24% to 7,415.18, while the pound was off 0.8% against the dollar at 1.3097 and 0.64% lower versus the euro at 1.1236.

Sterling was under pressure amid growing political uncertainty, as it emerged that as many as 40 Conservative MPs were preparing to sign a letter of no confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May ahead of a crucial round of Brexit negotiations.

For the day the Dow are trading at 23,439.70 for up with +0.07% percent or +17.49 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,584.84 for up with +0.10% percent or +2.54 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,757.60 for up with +0.10% percent or +6.66 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,380.01 with 0.00% percent or –0.98 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 29,158.28  with a loss of –0.08% percent or  –23.90point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,429.55  with a loss of –0.53% percent or –18.29 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,004.53 with a loss of –0.09% percent or –29.03 point at 12:15 PM.
