FTSE Futures Morning Update on 25 September

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,263.20 with a loss of  -0.07% percent or -4.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,268.50  with a loss of -0.03%  percent or -1.50 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,610.20  for up with +0.19% percent or +23.70 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,530.00  for up with  +0.06% percent or +2.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks fell in early trade on Monday as the pound gained ground against the euro after Angela Merkel secured a fourth term as German chancellor but with the tricky task of setting up a coalition, although chip designer Imagination Technologies bucked the trend on deal news.At 0830 BST, the FTSE 100 was down 0.5% to 7,277.04 as the pound rose 0.7% versus the euro to 1.1368 after Merkel’s conservative bloc saw its worst result in nearly 70 years over the weekend, taking 33% of the vote as anti-immigration party Alternative for Germany (AfD) took 12.6%.

For the day the Dow are trading at 22,349.59  with a loss of  –0.04% percent or –9.64 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,502.22 for up with +0.06% percent or  +1.62 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,426.92  for up with +0.07% percent or +4.23 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 20,397.58  for up with +0.50% percent or +101.13 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 27,500.34  with a loss of –1.36% percent or –380.19 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,341.55  with  a loss of –0.33% percent or  –10.98 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 31,626.63  with  a loss of –0.93% percent or –295.81 point at 12:15 PM .
