The DAX Futures are trading at 12,216.50 for up with +0.21% percent or +26.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,451.00 for up with +0.29% percent or +10.00 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
European stocks ended mostly lower on Monday, with autos under the cosh as investors digested the latest data on the eurozone manufacturing and services sectors.
The Stoxx Europe 600 index closed down 0.25% and Germany’s DAX was off 0.3%, but France’s CAC 40 managed to reversed earlier losses to end 0.2% firmer.
Autos were under pressure after the EU antitrust body confirmed it is investigating allegations of collusion between the big car manufacturers over diesel emission treatment systems and cost agreements. The Stoxx 600 autos and parts index closed down 1.2%.
On the data front, surveys released by from Markit showed eurozone services and manufacturing sector growth remained strong in early July, though both came in slightly less strong than expected.
