FTSE Futures Morning Update on 26 July 2017

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,371.50 with a loss of -0.12% percent or -9.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,160.0 with a loss of 0.13% percent or  -6.5 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,251.80 with a loss of -0.06% percent or -7.70 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,466.00 with a loss of -0.09% percent or  -3.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

European stocks ended higher on Tuesday, with basic resources pacing the advance as investors cheered an upbeat reading on German business confidence.

The benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 index ended up 0.4%, while Germany’s Dax rose 0.5% and France’s CAC 40 closed up 0.5%. Basic resources were the standout gainers as copper prices rallied, with the Stoxx 600 sub-index for the sector up 2.6%.

Meanwhile, the euro was trading up 0.1% against the dollar at 1.1656, having hit risen to 1.1665 earlier after a survey showed German business confidence unexpectedly improved in July.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,434.82 for up with  +0.77% percent or +57.09  point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,161.08  for up with +0.65% percent or +33.39 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,264.31 for up with  +0.45% percent or +55.36 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow are trading at 21,613.43 for up with  +0.47% percent or  +100.26 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,477.13 for up with  +0.29% percent or  +7.22 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,412.17 for up with +0.02% percent or +1.37 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 20,050.16 for up with  +0.48% percent or +94.96 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 26,877.14 for up with  +0.09% percent or  +25.09point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,232.25 with a loss of –0.35% percent or –11.44 point. India’s S&P BSE Sensex are trading at 32,317.27 for up with  +0.28% percent or  +89.00 point at 12:15 PM .
