FTSE Futures Morning Update on 05 October

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,385.00  with a loss of  -0.20% percent or -15.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,402.50 with a loss of  -0.01% percent or -0.50 point . The DAX Futures is trading at 12,215.50  with  a loss of -0.14% percent or -17.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,358.00   with a loss of -0.18% percent or -6.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Shares in Intu Properties have surged by 28.71% to 191.2p after it emerged that its largest shareholder Peel Group is part of a consortium looking at taking the shopping centre owner private.

Meanwhile, Hammerson, which Intu tried and failed to buy earlier this year, saw its share price rise by 6.23% to 455p.

The FTSE 100 is down 0.11% in early trading at 7,410.13.

The FTSE 250 is marginally higher, up 0.12% at 20,112.29.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,587.88  with  a loss of -0.14% percent or -35.99 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,821.35  up with +1.06% percent or  +29.58 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 34,779.95  with a loss of – 1.11%percent or -389.21  point at 12:15 PM.
