FTSE Futures Morning Update on 05 April

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,053.50 for up with +1.45% percent or +101.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,213.00 for up  with +1.64% percent or +84.00 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,175.00 for up with +1.77% percent or +212.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,313.00   for up with +1.84%  percent or +60.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

 London stocks were set for a firm open on Thursday, tracking gains on Wall Street as investors eye the latest reading on the UK services sector.

The FTSE 100 was called to open 100 points higher at 7,134.

David Madden, market analyst at CMC Markets, said: “The US markets had a roller-coaster ride yesterday, and after being well offside, all the major indices managed to finish higher on the day. The Dow Jones was down over 500 points at one point, and managed to close up over 200 points – which sums up how much of a turn around the US market underwent yesterday. It was reported that President Trump might be a little flexible on one of the North American Free Trade Agreements points, and that boosted the sentiment.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,122.87  for up with +1.26% percent or  +88.86 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,228.54 for up with +1.69% percent or +86.75 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,186.04  for up with +1.91% percent or +228.14 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow are trading at 24,264.30 for up with +0.96% percent or +230.94 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,644.69 for up with +1.16% percent or +30.24 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 7,042.11 for up with  +1.45% percent or +100.83 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 21,645.42  for up with +1.53% percent or  +325.87 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 29,518.69  with a loss of -2.19% percent or -661.41 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,131.11  with a loss of -0.18% percent or  -5.52 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,493.81 for up with +1.44% percent or  +474.74 point at 12:15 PM.
