The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,257.50  for up with +0.42% percent or +30.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,336.50 for up with +0.56% percent or +29.50 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,552.50 for up with  +0.61% percent or +76.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,455.00 for up with +0.49% percent or +17.00 point.


A less positive US open than promised did little for the European indices, which remained resolute in their red-tinged end to the week.

After eyeing a 160 point increase, the Dow Jones could only deliver an 80 point rise as the bell rang on Wall Street, keeping the index above 25000 but around 250 points off of where it began the week. A barren economic calendar meant that it was a lack of confidence more than anything else that kept the Dow from matching the gains suggested by its futures, investors still unsure how much to buy into the index’s second half of February rebound.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,244.41  with a loss of  -0.11% percent or  -7.98 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,317.37 for up  with +0.15% percent or +8.14 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,483.79 for up with +0.02% percent or  +21.88 point.


For the day the Dow are trading at 25,309.99 for up with +1.39% percent or +347.51 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,747.30 for up with +1.60% percent or +43.34 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,896.60 for up with  of +1.99% percent or +134.75 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,153.63  for up with +1.19% percent or  +260.85 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 31,506.16 for up with +0.76% percent or +238.99 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,329.57 for up with +1.23% percent or +40.55 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 34,385.84 for up with +0.71% percent or  +243.69  point at 12:15 PM.
