The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,227.00  with a loss of -0.25% percent or -18.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,307.00 with 0.00% percent or 0.00 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,477.00  with a loss of -0.10% percent or -13.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,432.00 with a loss of  -0.17% percent or -6.00 point.


 London stocks were set to edge down at the open on Friday after US markets ended off their highs, with results from the likes of RBS and Pearson in focus.

The FTSE 100 was called to open 10 points lower at 7,242.

CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson said: “European markets had a disappointing session yesterday, while US markets rallied modestly before giving up a good chunk of those gains heading into the close.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,238.87  with a loss of -0.19% percent or -13.52 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,307.89  with a loss of -0.03% percent or -1.34 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,464.45 for up with +0.02% percent or  +2.54 point.


For the day the Dow are trading at 24,962.48 for up with +0.66% percent or +164.70 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,703.96 for up with +0.10% percent or +2.63 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 7,210.09 with a loss of -0.11% percent or -8.14 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 21,892.78  for up with +0.72% percent or  +156.34 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 31,267.17 for up with +0.97% percent or +301.49 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,289.02 for up with +0.63% percent or +20.47 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 34,109.94 for up with +0.86% percent or  +290.44  point at 12:15 PM.
