FTSE Futures Morning Update on 06 December

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,298.00 with a loss of -0.10% percent or -7.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,362.50 with a loss of -0.42% percent or -22.50 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,973.50  with a loss of -0.20% percent or -26.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,543.0  with a loss of -0.38% percent or  -14.5 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The FTSE 100 closed down 11.47 point or 0.16% at 7,327.50, while the pound reversed its earlier slump against the euro to put a 0.2% gain over the session to 1.1380, while falling 0.3% against the dollar at 1.3438.

Brexit negotiations were the main cause of the pound’s fluctuations. The rally against the euro came after Brexit Secretary David Davis told parliament that “regulatory alignment” with the EU is what the government wants for the whole of the UK after Brexit.

For the day the Dow are trading at 24,180.64  with a loss of -0.45% percent or –109.41 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,629.57 with  a loss of –0.37% percent or –9.87 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,762.21 with a loss of –0.19% percent or –13.15 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,177.04 with a loss of –1.97% percent or  –445.34 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,389.45 with a loss of -1.57% percent or –452.01 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,293.96 with a loss of –0.29% percent or -9.71 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 32,680.72  with a loss of –0.37% percent or +121.61 point at 12:15 PM.
