FTSE Futures Morning Update on 05 December

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,358.20 for up with +0.67% percent or +48.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,386.00 for up with +0.30% percent or +16.00 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,070.50 for up with +0.16% percent or +21.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,573.0 for up with +0.08% percent or +4.0 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks were set for a flat open on Tuesday following uninspiring sessions in the US and Asia, as investors await services data for the UK and the eurozone and further news on Brexit negotiations.

The FTSE 100 was expected to open unchanged at 7,339.

As far as talks between the UK and the EU are concerned, Oanda analyst Craig Erlam said: “The two sides still have a little further to go before they can proceed onto the next stage and discuss future trade but there appears to be a more optimistic feeling that this can be achieved before the deadline in just over a week.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at  7,361.65 for up with +0.29% percent or +21.34 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,389.29 for up with +1.36% percent or +72.41 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 13,058.55 for up with +1.53% percent or +197.06 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow are trading at 24,290.05 for up with +0.24% percent or +58.46point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,639.44 with  a loss of –0.11% percent or –2.78 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at6,775.37 with a loss of –1.05% percent or –72.22 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,622.38 with a loss of –0.37% percent or  –84.78 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,842.80 with a loss of –1.01% percent or –295.48 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,303.68 with a loss of –0.18% percent or -5.94 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 32,796.76 for up with +0.22% percent or +72.96 point at 12:15 PM.
