FTSE Futures Morning Update on 04 December

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,358.80 for up with +0.28% percent or  +20.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,348.00 for up with +0.20% percent or +10.50 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,003.50 for up with +1.09% percent or +140.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,555.00 for up with +0.91% percent or +32.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The FTSE 100 was expected to open 56 points higher at 7,356.

CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson said: “Having come under fire from some quarters for agreeing a figure of up to €50bn to settle UK obligations with respect to a so called divorce bill, the UK government have been given a deadline of today to come up with proposals with respect to the Irish border issue. This is in order for there to be a chance to move onto trade talks when EU officials meet later this month.

For the day the Dow are trading at 24,231.59  with a loss of  –0.17% percent or –40.76 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,642.22  with  a loss of –0.20% percent or –5.36 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,847.59  with a loss of –0.38% percent or –26.39 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,707.16  with a loss of –0.49% percent or  –111.87 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 29,138.28 for up with +0.22% percent or  +64.04 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,309.62  with a loss of –0.24% percent or –8.00 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 32,864.61 for up with +0.10% percent or +31.67 point at 12:15 PM.
