FTSE Futures Morning Update on 13 November

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,437.80 for up with +0.23% percent or +17.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,374.00  with 0.00% percent or 0.00 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,125.50 for up with +0.04% percent or +5.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,588.00 with a loss of -0.69% percent or  -25.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Shares ended lower amid ongoing delays to the passage of tax cuts in the US Congress even as investors mulled over the latest better-than-expected data on manufacturing, industrial production and construction.

The FTSE 100 closed down by 0.68% at 7,432.99, as the pound nudged up 0.42% against the dollar to 1.3202.

Investors were focusing on the fact that the Senate Finance Committee’s version of the draft tax bill, unveiled on Thursday, included a proposal to defer a cut in corporate tax to 20% until 2019, rather than next year as suggested by the House.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow are trading at 23,440.00 with a loss of  -0.17% percent or –39.73point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,582.30 with a loss of –0.09% percent or –2.32 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,750.94 for up with +0.01% percent or +0.89 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,380.99 with  a loss of –1.32% percent or –300.43 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 29,234.33 for up with +0.39% percent or  +113.41 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,447.84 for up with +0.44% percent or +15.16 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,231.16 with a loss of –0.26% percent or –85.05 point at 12:15 PM.
