FTSE Futures Morning Update on 08 November

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,480.80 for up with +0.07%percent or +5.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,472.50 with a loss of -0.15% percent or -8.00 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,376.80  with a loss of -0.09% percent or -11.70 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,646.00 with a loss of -0.27% percent or  -10.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks edged higher in early trade on Wednesday, helped along by a weaker pound and some well-received releases from the likes of Marks & Spencer and SSE.

At 0830 GMT, the FTSE 100 was up 0.3% to 7,533.61, while the pound was down 0.4% against the euro at 1.1316 and off 0.3% versus the dollar at 1.3133.

Data released earlier showed China’s imports rose 17.2% in October, while exports were up 6.9%, versus consensus expectations for a 16% jump and a 7.2% gain, respectively.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,509.67 with  a loss of –0.05% percent or –3.44 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,472.47 with a loss of  –0.15% percent or –8.17 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 13,381.17 for up with +0.01% percent or +1.90 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow are trading at 23,557.23 for up with +0.04% percent or +8.81 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,590.64 with a loss of –0.02% percent or –0.49 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,767.78 with a loss of –0.27% percent or –18.65 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,913.82 for up with –0.10% percent or –23.78 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,907.60  with a loss of –0.30% percent or  –86.74 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,415.46 for up with +0.06% percent or +1.89 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,218.81 with a loss of –0.46% percent or –151.95 point at 12:15 PM.
