FTSE Futures Morning Update on 07 November

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,554.50 for up with +0.27%percent or +20.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,513.50 with a loss of -0.05% percent or -2.50 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,498.50 for up with +0.20% percent or +27.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,691.0 for up  with +0.27% percent or +10.0 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London blue chips stocks finished Monday’s session microscopically higher, with a little upward momentum as investors paused for breath after a record close on Friday.

Having earlier been below the waterline, FTSE 100 closed 1.9 points higher at 7,562.28, while the pound was up 0.5% against the dollar at 1.3144 and 0.6% on the euro at 1.1331.

While the large cap benchmark was boosted by a strong showing in the mining sector and some individual broker upgrades, the mid-caps of the FTSE 250 was down 0.2% to 20,432.6.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,562.28 for up with +0.03% percent or +1.93 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,507.25 with a loss of  –0.19% percent or –10.72 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 13,468.79  with a loss of –0.07% percent or –10.07 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow are trading at 23,548.42 for up with +0.04% percent or +9.23point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,591.13 for up with +0.13% percent or +3.29 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,786.44 for up with +0.33% percent or +22.00 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,937.60 for up with +1.73% percent or +389.25 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,947.71 for up with +1.23% percent or  +350.91 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,413.57 for up with +0.75% percent or +25.40 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,635.55  with a loss of –0.28% percent or –95.64 point at 12:15 PM.
