The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,457.80  up with +0.29% percent or +21.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,049.50 up with +0.57% percent or +34.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 13,666.50 up  with  +0.28% percent or +37.90 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,832.00 up with +0.31% percent or +12.00 point.


 London stocks rose on Wednesday, boosted by hopes that the outbreak of the new China coronavirus might be slowing further and alongside record highs for the Dow Jones Industrials and S&P 500, together with the benchmark German stockmarket index, the Dax.

A well-received update from TUI also lent a hand.

“You just can’t keep equity markets down these days,” said Neil Wilson, chief market analyst at, who attributed the gains in the Dax to the “weaker euro and persistent promise of more stimulus”.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,499.44  up with +0.71% percent or  +52.56  point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 6,054.76  up with +0.65% percent or +39.09  point.Germany’s DAX closed at  13,627.84  up with +0.99% percent or +133.81  point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 29,276.34   with a loss of –0.0016% percent or –0.48  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,357.75  up with +5.66 percent or +24.38 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 9,638.94 up with +0.11% percent or +10.55 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 23,861.21  up with 0.74% percent or +175.23 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,880.09 up with +1.07% percent or +296.21  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,926.90 up with +0.87% percent or +25.22 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at  41,579.76  up with +0.88% percent or +363.62 point at 12:15 PM.
