The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,327.50  with a loss of -0.09% percent or -6.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,907.09  with a loss of –0.21% percent or –12.66 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 13,208.00 with a loss of  -0.30% percent or -40.40 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,690.00  with a loss of -0.11% percent or -4.00  point.


London stocks ended the day slightly in the red on Wednesday after an eagerly-awaited speech by US President Trump left investors disappointed, while escalating unrest in Hong Kong also weighed on the mood.

The FTSE 100 was 0.19% lower at 7,351.21.

In his speech at the economic club of New York on Tuesday, Trump said a trade deal with China could happen “soon” but provided no new details on negotiations between the two countries and threatened to raise tariffs on China “very substantially” if it does not make a deal with the US.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,351.21 with a loss of –0.19% percent or  -14.23 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,907.09  with a loss of –0.21%  percent or –12.66 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 13,230.07  with a loss of -0.40%percent or -53.44   point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,303.71  with a loss of –1.01% percent or –267.75 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,909.87 up with +0.16% percent or +4.63   point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 40,121.17 up with +0.017% percent or +6.93  point at 12:15 PM.
