The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,067.50  with a loss of -0.30% percent or -21.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,445.20  with +0.46% percent or +24.70 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 11,933.20 up with +0.26% percent or +31.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at
3,412.00 up with +0.47% percent or +16.00 point.


 London stocks were set for more losses on Thursday as worries about a global slowdown and escalating trade tensions dented sentiment.

The FTSE 100 was called to open 23 points lower at 7,099.

CMC Markets analyst David Madden said: “Stocks in Asia traded lower overnight as the US announced $7.5 billion worth of tariffs on EU goods like aircrafts as well as agricultural products.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,101.96 with a loss of –0.29% percent or –20.58 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,444.39 up with +0.40% percent or +21.62 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 11,925.25 with a loss of  -2.76% percent or -338.58 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,078.62  with a loss of –1.86% percent or –494.42  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,887.61  with a loss of –1.79% percent or –52.64 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,785.25  with a loss of –1.56% percent or  –123.44 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,341.74 with a loss of –2.01% percent or  –436.87 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,116.10 up with +0.28% percent or   +73.41 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,905.19 with a loss of –0.92% percent or –26.98 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,109.65 with a loss of  –0.51% percent or –195.76  point at 12:15 PM.
