FTSE Futures Morning Update on 10 May 2019

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,218.30  up with +0.91% percent or +64.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,355.50 up with +0.88% percent or +46.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 12,090.50  up with +0.04% percent or +4.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,342.00 with 0.00% percent or 0.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

 London stocks were poised for gains at the open on Friday, with investors set to take US President Trump’s lifting of tariffs on $200bn of Chinese goods in their stride.

China has vowed to retaliate after the US lifted tariffs on Chinese goods to 25% from 10%. China said it “deeply regrets” the move and will have to take “necessary counter-measures.”
