FTSE Futures Morning Update on 09 May 2019

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,192.00  with a loss -0.42% percent or -30.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,360.50 with a loss of -0.71% percent or -38.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 12,119.20  with a loss of -0.71% percent or -87.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,348.00 with a loss of -0.65% percent or -22.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks looked set to nudge lower at the open on Wednesday following downbeat US and Asian sessions amid growing fears over Sino-US trade relations and as investors mull over a set of mixed Chinese trade data.

London Capital Group analyst Jasper Lawler said: “The overriding fear here is that global growth will take a hit should the US and China fail to hash out a trade deal and do so sooner rather than later. Just as the global economy was starting to show tentative signs of stabilising, a bigger slowdown is now back on the cards.”

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,967.33 up with +0.0086% percent or +2.24   point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,879.42 with a loss of -0.16% percent or -4.63 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,943.32  wilth  a loss of -0.26% percent or -20.44 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,348.48 a loss of -2.26% percent or -654.72   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,850.95 with a loss of -1.48% percent or -42.80 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,605.60 a loss of -0.49% percent or -330.10 point at 12:15 PM.
