FTSE Futures Morning Update on 21 December

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,628.80  with a loss of -0.23% percent or -15.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,660.80 with a loss of  -2.43% percent or -116.20  point. The DAX Futures is trading at 10,555.50  with a loss of -0.46% percent or -49.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 2,979.00 up with +0.18% percent or +5.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks ended in the red on Today as the Bank of England stood pat on rates amid growing Brexit uncertainty and as the Fed’s latest policy announcement turned out to be less dovish than expected.

The pound was up 0.3% against the dollar at 1.264 and down 0.1% versus the euro at 1.1075 after the Bank of England left interest rates unchanged at 0.75%, as expected, with the decision unanimous.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 25,683.81  up with +0.24% percent or +60.28 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,514.58  with a loss of -0.86% percent or  -21.69 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,074.01 with a loss of  -0.98% percent or -357.66 point at 12:15 PM.
