The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,599.80  with a loss of -0.23% percent or -15.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,718.80 with a loss of  -0.07% percent or -3.40  point The DAX Futures is trading at 10,637.00  with a loss of -1.27% percent or -137.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 2,998.50  with a loss of -0.10% percent or -3.00 point.


London stocks rose on Wednesday, bouncing back from the previous session’s losses with GlaxoSmithKline in the lead on news of a tie-up with Pfizer, as investors digested inflation data and looked ahead to the US Federal Reserve’s policy announcement.

The consumer prices index was 2.2% in November, down from 2.3% in October and the lowest since March 2017. Including home occupiers’ housing costs, the rate was 2.2%, unchanged on the previous month. Core inflation, which strips out volatile energy prices, eased to 1.8% from 1.9%.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 6,765.94  up with +0.96% percent or +64.35 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 4,777.45  up with +0.49% percent or +23.37 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 10,766.21  up with +0.24% percent or +25.32 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 23,323.66  with a loss of  -1.49% percent or ?351.98 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,506.96  with  a loss of -1.54% percent or -39.20 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 6,636.83  with a loss of -2.17% percent or -147.08 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 25,585.37  with a loss of -1.08% percent or -280.02 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,536.27  with a loss of -0.52% percent or  -13.30 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,375.02 with a loss of  -0.30% percent or -109.31 point at 12:15 PM.
