FTSE Futures Morning Update on 19 September

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,275.80 up with  +0.09% percent or  +6.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,354.00 with  a loss of -0.05% percent or -2.50 point . The DAX Futures is trading at 112,175.50 up  with +0.26% percent or +31.50point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,343.00 up with  +0.15% percent or +5.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks were set for a downbeat open on Today, tracking losses in the US after President Trump slapped more tariffs on China.

The FTSE 100 was called to open 40 points lower at 7,262.

Trump announced late on Monday that the US was imposing 10% tariffs on $200bn worth of Chinese imports, a levy that will be raised to 25% from January. If Beijing retaliates, the US will impose tariffs on an additional $267bnof Chinese goods.
