FTSE Futures Morning Update on 12 September

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,287.50 with +0.09% percent or +6.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,320.50 up with +0.72% percent or +38.00 point . The DAX Futures is trading at 12,027.50  up with +0.53% percent or +63.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,323.00 up with +0.36% percent or +12.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks were set to for a positive open on Today after the US government confirmed it is in the process of arranging a second meeting between President Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.

The FTSE 100 was called to open 11 points higher at 7,290, ahead of the release of a slew of jobs data.

CMC Markets analyst David Madden said: “The announcement is seen as a step in the right direction for political stability in the region. Political and business relations are on the mend elsewhere as Russia and China are looking to launch projects worth $100bn via scores of joint ventures, and this has lifted investment sentiment too.”

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at  7,284.64 up with  + 0.15% percent or +11.10  point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,313.16 up with +0.56% percent or +29.38 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,014.01  with +0.37% percent or +43.74 point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,971.06 up with +0.44% percent or +13.99 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,887.89   up with +0.37% percent or +10.76 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,972.47 up  with +0.61% percent or +48.31 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,604.61  with a loss of -0.27% percent or ?60.08 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,345.04   with a loss of  -0.29% percent or  -77.51 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,656.11  with  a loss of -0.33% percent or  -8.69 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,623.09 up with +0.56%  percent or  +209.96 point at 12:15 PM.
