London stocks were set for a muted open on Thursday, with investors likely to continue eyeing global trade developments as the US and Canada resumed talks a day earlier.
The FTSE 100 was called to open three points lower at 7,380.
CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson said: “US and Canadian negotiators also sat down again to restart further talks with respect to NAFTA ahead of a possible announcement either today or tomorrow that could signal further tariffs on a further $200bn of Chinese goods.
