UK PRE MARKET
The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,317.80 for up with +0.06% percent or +4.300 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,372.00 with a loss of -0.40% percent or -21.50 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,047.50 for up with +0.14% percent or +18.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,570.0 with a loss of -0.03% percent or -2.0 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
The FTSE 100 has trimmed losses and is now down 10 points at 7,382.
Top of the risers is Mediclinic, the South African private hospital group, whose shares are up 4.3% at 563.5p following an upgrade from broker Jefferies to “buy” from “underperform”.
In contrast, pharmaceuticals giant AstraZeneca is leading the fallers, down 1.7% at £48.16.
Strong results have propelled Marston’s to the top of the gainers on the FTSE 250, with the pub group up 9.6% to 114.9p.
However, the wider FTSE 250 is off almost 100 points at 19,960.
DMGT, the owner of the Daily Mail, has clawed back some earlier losses, but its share price is down 22% at 544p after it warned of a tough year ahead
