FTSE Futures Morning Update on 29 September

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,296.20 for up with +0.17% percent or +12.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,277.50  with a loss of  -0.08%  percent or -4.00  point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,714.80 for up with +0.20% percent or +24.80point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,552.00  for up with  +0.06% percent or +2.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks were set to edge higher at the open on Friday as investors eyed a deluge of data releases, including the final reading on second-quarter UK GDP.The FTSE 100 was expected to open six points higher at 7,328.

Investors will be digesting the latest survey from Nationwide, which showed the annual rate of house price growth remained broadly stable in September at 2.0%, compared with 2.1% in August. However, London prices fell for the first time in eight years and the capital was the weakest performing region for the first time since 2005, with prices down 0.6% year-on-year.

For the day the Dow are trading at 22,340.71  for up with +0.25% percent or +56.39 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,507.04   for up with +0.41% percent or  +10.20 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,453.26 for up  with +1.15% percent or +73.10 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 20,356.28  with a loss of -0.03% percent or –6.83 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 27,506.90  for up with  +0.31% percent or  +85.30 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,348.94   for up with  +0.28% percent or  +9.30 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 31,456.69  for up with  +0.56%  percent or +174.21 point at 12:15 PM .
