FTSE 100 Trades Flat As RSA Insurance Climbs

NEW YORK –  The FTSE 100 Index traded flat on the day at 6,731.27. RSA Insurance Group PLC led the market gainers, adding 6.1% as investors turned optimistic that the troubled insurance company’s Irish operations were an isolated incident. Fresnillo PLC dropped 2.9%, while Randgold Resources Ltd. dropped 2.5%
