FTSE Futures Update : 02 Nov 2021

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,248.00 with a loss of -0.09% percent or -6.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,925.00 with +0.52% percent or +35.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 15,939.00 with a loss of -0.05% or -8.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,286.00 with -0.05% percent or -2.00 point.

 

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

 London stocks closed below the waterline on Tuesday, with miners under the cosh as investors mulled results from the likes of BP and Standard Chartered.

The FTSE 100 ended the session down 0.19% at 7,274.81, and the FTSE 250 was off 0.31% at 23,140.00.

Sterling was also under pressure, last trading down 0.42% on the dollar at $1.3607, and weakening 0.18% against the euro to €1.1752.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,274.81 with a loss of –0.19% percent or –13.81 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 6,927.03 up with +0.49%  percent or +33.74   point.Germany’s DAX closed at 15,954.45 with 0.94% percent or +148.16   point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,935.77 with a loss of –0.65% ercent or +79.51 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,498.94 with a loss of –0.19% percent or –6.69 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 59,952.95 with a  –0.13% percent or –76.11   point at 12:15 PM.
