FTSE Futures Update : 14 Sept 2021

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,044.50 with a loss of -0.35% percent or -25.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,664.50 up with +0.02% percent or +1.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 15,737.50  with a loss of -0.03%or -5.10 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,170.00 with +0.31% percent or +13.00 point.

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell, said: “The FTSE 100 started the week with solid gains despite fresh turmoil in Asia as the Chinese crackdown on the tech sector showed little sign of ending.

“News that Beijing is looking to break up Ant Group’s Alipay hit the wider Hang Seng index which was down more than 2% but UK investors seem to have decided this news has little relevance to them for now.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,068.43 up with +percent or +39.23 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 6,676.93 with  percent or +13.16 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 15,701.42 with percent or point.

 

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 34,869.63 up with +percent or +261.91 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,468.73 with + percent or+10.15 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 15,105.58 with a loss of –percent or –9.91 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 30,604.27 up with + percent or +154.22 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 25,589.01 with a loss of  – ercent or 224.80 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,675.52  with a loss of –percent or ?40.47 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 58,355.84 with + percent or +178.08 point at 12:15 PM.
