FTSE Futures Update : 09 August 2021
The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,044.20 with a loss of -0.25% percent or -17.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,826.50 up with +0.69% percent or +46.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 15,707.50 with a loss of -0.31% or -49.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,158.00 with a loss of -0.30% percent or -12.00 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
London stocks finished in a mixed state on today, as traders spent the afternoon digesting a payrolls report out of the United States which saw growth ahead of expectations.
The FTSE 100 ended the session up 0.04% at 7,122.95, while the FTSE 250 closed 0.21% weaker at 23,456.16.
It was a mixed picture for sterling as well, with the currency last trading 0.45% weaker against the dollar at $1.3869, while it gained 0.18% on the euro to €1.1793.
