The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,506.50 up with +0.42% percent or +27.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,543.00 with -0.60% percent or -33.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 13,236.20 with +0.25% or +32.70 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,508.00 with a loss of -0.23% percent or -8.00 point.


The FTSE 100 ended the session up 0.42% at 6,490.27, and the FTSE 250 added 1.28% to 20,132.44.

Sterling was stronger against its major trading pairs as well, last advancing 0.97% on the dollar to $1.3495, and gaining 0.65% against the euro to €1.1104.

“A thoroughly risk-on day has helped lift the tone across financial markets, with dollar weakness and value outperformance once again coming into play,” said IG senior market analyst Joshua Mahony.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 6,490.27 up with +percent or  +26.88 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,574.36 with a loss of – percent or –8.65 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 13,252.86 with a loss of –percent or 60.38 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 29,969.52 up with +percent or +85.73 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,666.72 with a loss of – percent or  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 12,377.18 up with + percent or  +27.82 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 26,751.24 with a loss of –percent or  -58.13 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,760.80 up with +percent or +32.30 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,440.14 with a loss of – percent or ?1.99 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 44,916.60 up with percent or  +283.95 point at 12:15 PM.
