FTSE Futures Morning Update on 29 November

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,040.50 up with +0.46% percent or +32.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,004.50 up with +0.70% percent or +35.00 point The DAX Futures is trading at 11,362.50  with a loss of -0.32% percent or -36.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,185.00  with a loss of -0.34% percent or -11.00  point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Sterling took the news in its stride, trading up 0.4% against the dollar at 1.2801. Analysts said the move against the dollar was mostly down to the US currency losing its safe-haven appeal amid renewed hopes that China and the US will reach a truce on trade, and later was hit by some dovish comments from Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell. The pound was flat versus the euro at 1.1290.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,004.52  with  a loss of -0.18% percent or -12.33  point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 4,983.24 up with +0.0018% percent or +0.090 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 11,298.88  with a loss of  -0.090% percent or  -10.23  point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,483.96  with a loss of -0.74% percent or -198.60 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,567.44 with a loss of -1.32% percent or  -34.29 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,139.01 up with +1.18% percent or +422.06 point at 12:15 PM.
