FTSE Futures Morning Update on 15 January

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,718.20 with 0.00% percent or +0.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,509.00  with a loss of  -0.07%  percent or -4.00  point . The DAX Futures are trading at 13,229.20 for up with +0.04% percent or +4.70 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,601.00 for up with +0.08% percent or +3.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The UK’s 100 share index has finished at yet another record high despite tailing off towards the end of trading.

The FTSE 100 rose 0.2% to 7,778.64, after earlier coming close to passing 7,800 points.

It appears the British index is “following in the footsteps of the American markets” – which are also trading at record highs, said CMC Markets analyst David Madden.
