FTSE Futures Morning Update on 23 November

UK PRE MARKET

The FTSE 100 Futures are trading at 7,388.00  with a loss of -0.22% percent or -16.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures are trading at 5,330.50 with a loss of -0.30% percent or -16.30 point . The DAX Futures are trading at 12,914.50 with a loss of  -0.73% percent or -94.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures are trading at 3,545.00  with a loss of -0.42% percent or -15.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Shares closed higher on Thursday as investors sifted through corporate releases as well as the Autumn Budget.

The FTSE 100 was up 0.10% by the close to 7,419.02, while the pound was climbing 0.01% against the euro at 1.1279 and 0.42% versus the dollar at 1.3295.

European markets were mixed on Wednesday with the DAX down 1.16% to 13,015.04, the CAC 40 0.25% lower at 5,352.76 and the IBEX 35 bucking the trend to close 0.21% higher at 10,013.90.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,419.02 for up with +0.10% percent or +7.68 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,352.76  with a loss of –0.25% percent or –13.38 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 13,015.04  with a loss of –1.16% percent or –152.50 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow are trading at 23,526.18  with a loss of –0.27% percent or  –64.65 point. The S&P 500 are trading at 2,597.08 with a loss of –0.08% percent or –1.95 point. The Nasdaq Composite are trading at 6,867.36 for up with +0.07% percent or  +4.88 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,523.15 for up with +0.48% percent or  +106.67 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 29,723.14 with a loss of –0.93% percent or  –280.35 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,351.92  with a loss of –2.29% percent or  –78.55 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,525.06 with a loss of  –0.11% percent or –36.49 point at 12:15 PM.
