The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 5,996.00  with a loss of -0.31% percent or -18.50  point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,897.50 with a loss of -0.34% percent or -16.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 12,458.00 with a loss of -0.73% or -92.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,246.00  with a loss of -0.12% percent or -4.00 point.


CMC Markets analyst Michael Hewson said: “Markets in Asia have finished a choppy week very much on the back foot, as rising coronavirus cases in the US, and the southern states especially, appear to be now translating into a rise in fatality rates. The closure of schools in Hong Kong and the further tightening of virus restrictions in Australia has also fed into the underlying negative mood at the end of the week.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 6,068.03 up with +0.30% percent or +18.41  point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 4,904.80 with a loss of –0.33% percent or –16.20 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 12,474.41 with a loss of -0.12% percent or –15.05 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,706.09 with a loss of -1.39% percent or -361.19 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,152.05 with a loss of –0.56% percent or 17.89  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 10,547.75 up with +0.53% percent or +55.25 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 22,290.81 with a loss of –1.06% percent or –238.48 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 25,727.41 with a loss of –1.84% percent or –482.75  point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,383.32 with a loss of –1.95% percent or –67.27  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,641.76 with a loss of -0.26% percent or –95.93 point at 12:15 PM.
