The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at  7,576.80  with a loss of  -0.13% percent or -9.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,018.00  with  a loss of -0.07% percent or -4.50 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 13,290.30  up with +0.07% percent or +9.10 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,764.00 up with +0.11% percent or +4.00 point.


A rising tide into year end on Wall Street lifted shares on the Continent even higher with just one or two trading sessions left to go in 2019.

The main US stock market gauges hit fresh record highs during the previous session and for the most part were adding to those gains at the end of the week.

Brent crude oil futures also rose, adding 0.22% to reach $68.07 a barrel on ICE. Boosting prices, two days earlier, the American Petroleum Institute had reported a large 7.9m barrel drawdown in the country’s oil stockpiles over the preceding week.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,644.90  up with +0.17% percent or +12.66 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 6,037.39 up with +0.13% percent or +7.84  point.Germany’s DAX closed at 13,337.11  up with +0.27% percent or +36.13   point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 28,645.26  up with +0.083% percent or  +23.87 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,240.02 up with +0.0034% percent or +0.11 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 9,006.62  with a loss of –0.17% percent or -15.77  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 23,656.62  with a loss of –0.76% percent or -181.10 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,343.18  up with +0.42% percent or +117.76 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,037.88  up with +1.09% percent or +32.85   point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 41,478.22 with a loss of –0.23% percent or –96.92 point at 12:15 PM.
