FTSE Futures Morning Update on 27 June 2019

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,353.80  up with +0.05% percent or +3.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,505.58  up with +0.088% percent or +4.86 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 12,288.50  up with +0.58% percent or +70.60 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,438  up with +0.29% percent or +10 point.


 London stocks were set to edge tentatively higher at the open on Thursday following an upbeat session in Asia, as investors eyed this week’s G20 meeting.

The FTSE 100 was called to open six points higher at 7,422.

CMC Markets analyst David Madden said: “The G20 summit which kicks off tomorrow is on traders’ minds.

“On Saturday, the meeting between China’s Xi Jinping and Donald Trump could determine the next big move in global equity markets. The Huawei ban and the question of intellectual property protection are likely to be sticking points from the US side.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,415.59  with a loss of -0.011% percent or -0.80 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,505.01  up with +0.078% percent or +4.29 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 12,304.07 up with +0.48% percent or +61.98 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,536.82 with a loss of -0.043% percent or -11.40 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,913.78 with a loss of -0.12% percent or -3.60 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,909.97  up with +0.32% percent or +25.25 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,338.17  up with +1.19% percent or +251.58 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,603.89  up with +1.35% percent or +381.91 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,996.79  up with +0.69% percent or +20.51 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,770.82 up with +0.45% percent or +178.74 point at 12:15 PM.
