FTSE Futures Morning Update on 04 April 2019

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,314.80 with a loss of -0.36% percent or -26.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,452.80  with a loss of -0.18% percent or -9.70 point. The DAX Futures is trading at  11,938.80  with a loss of -0.39% percent or -46.40 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,350.00 with a loss of -0.30% percent or -10.00 point.


Carney reportedly also labelled suggestions that a hard Brexit could be managed “absolute nonsense”.

Currency analyst Jane Foley at Rabobank said: “However, given the time pressures that are now presenting themselves, there remains a strong risk that a compromise could be too difficult to thrash out. In these circumstances there is speculation that May could ask parliament to vote for different options in a process agreed with Corbyn. This could potentially pit her Withdrawal Agreement against Labour’s proposals in a vote and could leave the possibility of a confirmatory referendum on the table.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,418.28 up with +0.37% percent or +27.16 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,468.91 up with +0.84% percent or +45.45 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 11,954.40  up with +1.70% percent or +199.61 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,218.13 up with +0.15% percent or +39.00 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,873.40 up with +0.21% percent or +6.16 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,895.55  up with +0.60% percent or +46.86 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,724.95  up with +0.054% percent or +11.74 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,837.35 with a loss of -0.50% percent or -149.04  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,237.38 up with +0.66% percent or +21.09 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,766.49  up with +0.28% percent or +110.63 point at 12:15 PM.
