The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,263.20  up with +0.21% percent or +15.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,398.50  with 0.00% percent or +0.00 point. The DAX Futures is trading at  11,691.50 with a loss of -0.39% percent or -46.10 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,310.00  with a loss of -0.24% percent or -8.00 point.


London shares kicked-off the new quarter on the front foot, driven by gains from the mining sector on the back of improved Chinese economic data and more positive sounds from US-China trade talks.

But a rally in the pound ahead of another round of indicative votes on alternative Brexit solutions trimmed the top off early stock market gains.

With nine days until the new 12 April Brexit date, the House of Commons again wrested control of the day’s proceedings to debate possible alternatives to the Theresa May’s deal, with the indicative votes taking place from around 2000 BST.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,317.38 up with +0.52% percent or +38.19 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,405.53 up with +1.03% percent or +55.01 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 11,681.99  up with +1.35% percent or +155.95 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,258.42 up with +1.27% percent or ++329.74 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,867.19 up with +1.16% percent or +32.79 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,828.91  up with +1.29% percent or +99.59 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,505.31  with a loss of -0.017% percent or -3.72 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,592.60 up with +0.10% percent or +30.58  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,175.91  up with +0.17% percent or +5.55 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,026.74  up with +0.40% percent or +154.87 point at 12:15 PM.
