The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,043.80  with a loss of -0.05% percent or -3.60 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,959.50  with 0.00% percent or 0.00 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 10,945.80  up with +0.04% percent or +4.30 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,145.50  with 0.00% percent or 0.00 point.


 London stocks dipped at the end of the week, unable to make any headway amid fresh concerns about trade relations between the US and China and extending the heavy losses sustained during the previous session.

The FTSE 100 was down by 0.32% or 22.40 points at 7,071.18, while the pound drifted lower by 0.13% against the dollar to 1.29332, although versus the euro it was essentially flat at 1.1420.

Sino-US relations were back in focus after Trump said on Thursday that he wasn’t planning on meeting with Chinese president Xi Jinping before the trade truce deadline on 1 March, prompting concerns that the two nations won’t strike a deal before the end of the 90-day period.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,071.18 with a loss of -0.32% percent or -22.40 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 4,961.64  with a loss of -0.48% percent or -23.92  point. Germany’s DAX closed at 10,906.78 with a loss of -1.05% percent or -115.24 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,106.33 with a loss of -0.25% percent or -63.20 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,707.88  up with +0.068% percent or +1.83 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,298.20  up with +0.14% percent or +9.85 point.
