The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,034.50  with a loss of -0.20% percent or -13.90 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,996.50  with a loss of -1.60% percent or -81.00 point. The DAX Futures is trading at 11,008.80  with a loss of -0.11% percent or -11.80 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,151.50  with a loss of -0.10% percent or -3.00 point.


London stocks stumbled on Thursday wore on as global growth worries hit markets, as the Bank of England and European Commission cut forecasts for growth this year and next.

Having been steady until midday, FTSE 100 dropped 79 points of 1.1% to 7,093.58 by the close. Meanwhile, sterling made a late rally, climbing 0.3%against the dollar to 1.2972 and 0.4% versus the euro to 1.1424 after the European Union agreed to work with Theresa May on “whether a way through can be found that would gain the broadest possible support in the UK Parliament” as well as respecting the EU’s own lines in the sand.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,093.58 with a loss of -1.11% percent or -79.51 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 4,985.56  with a loss of -1.84% percent or -93.49 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 11,022.02 with a loss of -2.67% percent or -302.70 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,169.53 with a loss of -0.87% percent or -220.77 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,706.05  with a loss of -0.94% percent or -25.56 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,288.35  with a loss of -1.18% percent or -86.93 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 20,333.17   with a loss of -2.01% percent or -418.11 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,972.55  with a loss of  -0.063% percent or -17.66 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,618.23 up with +1.30% percent or +33.66 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,741.37  with a loss of -0.62% percent or -229.72 point at 12:15 PM.
