The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,778.80  up with +0.16% percent or +10.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,848.80 up with  +0.11% percent or +5.30  point The DAX Futures is trading at 10,889.50  up with +0.54% percent or +59.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,075.50 up with +0.15% percent or +4.50 point.


London stocks finished lower on Friday, albeit off their worst levels of the session, following the release of weak Chinese data and after Theresa May returned home from her EU charm offensive empty-handed.

The FTSE 100 was down by 0.47% or 32.33 points to 6,845.17, while the pound was off 0.72% against the dollar at 1.2576 and 0.16% lower versus the euro at 1.1126 after European Union leaders rejected May’s plea to put a time limit on the Irish backstop, in a blow to her hopes of reaching a deal at a Brussels summit on Thursday.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 6,845.17  with a loss of -0.47% percent or -32.33 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 4,853.70  with a loss of -0.88% percent or -43.21 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 10,865.77  with a loss of -0.54% percent or -58.93 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 24,100.51 with a loss of -2.02% percent or -496.87 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,599.95   with a loss of -1.91% percent or -50.59 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 6,910.66  with a loss of -2.26% percent or -159.67 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,506.88  up with +0.62% percent or +132.05 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,106.98   up with +0.047% percent or +12.19 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,597.97  up with +0.16% percent or  +4.23 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at  36,193.86 up with +0.64% percent or  +230.93 point at 12:15 PM.
