The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,968.50  with a loss of  -0.25% percent or -17.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,091.00  with  a loss of -0.01% percent or -0.50 point . The DAX Futures is trading at 11,469.50  with  a loss of -0.30% percent or -34.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,176.00   with a loss of -0.22% percent or -7.00 point.


 London stocks were set to edge up at the open on Monday, with investors likely to keep a close eye on any Brexit-related developments.

The FTSE 100 was called to open 15 points higher at 7,010. Meanwhile, sterling was down 0.2% against the dollar and the euro at 1.3122 and 1.1355, respectively, after a weekend of Brexit negotiations between Dominic Raab and the EU’s chief negotiator, Michel Barnier, failed to yield any breakthroughs.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,007.52  up with +0.17% percent or +11.93 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,095.98  with a loss of -0.20% percent or  ?10.39 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 11,523.81  with a loss of  -0.13% percent or -15.54 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,339.99 up with +1.15% percent or +287.16 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,767.13 up with  +1.42% percent or +38.76 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,496.89 up with +2.29% percent or +167.83 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 25,463.64    with a loss of -1.31% percent or -337.85 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,568.10   with a loss of  -1.49% percent or -38.81 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 34,743.09  up  with +0.027% percent or +9.51 point at 12:15 PM.
