FTSE Futures Morning Update on 03 October


The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,454.50 for up with  +0.07% percent or +5.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,484.20 for up with  +0.42% percent or +22.70 point . The DAX Futures is trading at 12,269.50  with  a loss of -0.47% percent or -58.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,393.00  up with+0.53% percent or +18.00 point.


London stocks rubbed out the worst of their earlier losses on Today as the strong oil price helped offset renewed tensions around Italy’s debt pile and doubts about new Brexit proposals

Sterling was dropping from an overnight spike on the back of reports that the UK will make a major new offer to unblock talks with the European Union over the crucial issue of the Irish border. Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed on Tuesday that she was willing to limit Britain’s ability to strike free-trade deals with other countries after Brexit in return for remaining tied to European customs rules on goods after the transition period ends in December 2020.


For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,474.55 with a loss of  -0.28% percent or  -21.12  point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,467.89  with a loss of  -0.71% percent or -38.92 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,287.58  with a loss of
– 0.42% percent or -51.45 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,773.94  up with +0.46% percent or +122.73 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,923.43 with a loss of  -0.040% percent or -1.16  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,999.55  with a loss of -0.47% percent or -37.76 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 24,110.96  with  a loss of -0.66% percent or -159.66 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,099.64  with  a loss of -0.099% percent or -26.74 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,821.35  up with +1.06% percent or  +29.58 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,456.05  with a loss of – 0.19% percent or -70.09 point at 12:15 PM.
