FTSE Futures Morning Update on 28 August

The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,619.00  up with +0.62% percent or +47.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,489.50 up with +0.15% percent or +8.00 point . The DAX Futures is trading at 12,569.80 up with +0.23%  percent or  +28.80 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,460.00  up with +0.09% percent or +3.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

US stocks finished on a strong note on Today as investors mulled over a speech by Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell at the Jackson Hole symposium and a somewhat disappointing end to trade talks between the US and China.

By the end of trading, the Dow Jones Industrial was up 0.52% or 133.37 points to 25,790.35, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite notching-up fresh all-time highs alongside, rising by 0.62% and 0.86% to stand at 2,874.69 and 7,945.80 by the close of trading, respectively.
